Stella Stewart Highland Tweed
Stella Stewart Highland Tweed
Since 1984, we have followed a tradition of designing and manufacturing natural, sustainable cloth in Scotland. Our fabrics are inspired by the Scottish landscape and changing seasons, drawing on a rich and ever-evolving colour palette rooted in place.
ANTA Highland Tweed is woven in Scotland from 100% British wool, using traditional techniques that ensure both durability and timeless character. The result is a beautifully structured fabric designed for longevity and everyday use.
Since 2021, we have been working with the Highland Clip to increase the use of 100% Scottish wool across our collections. This wool is sourced exclusively through the Highland Clip, supporting farmers with a fairer price for their fleece while helping to secure a transparent and reliable local supply chain.
Wool is a naturally renewable fibre, shorn annually without harm to the animal. It is biodegradable, breathable and an excellent natural insulator, offering warmth while allowing air to circulate. It also provides acoustic benefits, making it ideal for interiors where comfort and performance matter.
Available by the metre, this versatile wool fabric is well suited to upholstery, curtains and soft furnishings, offering both practical durability and a strong sense of heritage design.
