ABOUT ANTA
Is ANTA sustainable?
Yes, we are. We invest in prime quality materials all sourced in the UK. Our wool is harvested annually, it is the ultimate renewable and biodegradable resource. Our clay is made in-house using 100% natural ingredients. Our factory is powered by solar panels and heated by the kiln that produces our stoneware. It is an ongoing process that we have been embracing in order to make a long-term change.
Where is ANTA based?
We are based in Fearn, Highlands, which is where our factory is (all of our products are made there). If you visit us, you will also be able to have a look at our shop which is just next to the factory.
When is the ANTA Fearn shop open?
Our Fearn shop is open between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sundays.
Is ANTA only present in Fearn?
No, we also have a Carpet & Fabric Showroom in Edinburgh which is viewing only, but orders can be placed during your visit. You can find us at Crocket’s Land, 91 West Bow, Victoria Street, Edinburgh EH1 2JP.
When is the Edinburgh Showroom open?
Our Edinburgh Showroom is open by appointments only Tuesday to Wednesday, from 10am to 4pm. To book an appointment click here.
Does ANTA have any partnerships?
Yes, we do. Every year we pair with a charity or group that is remarkable for the help they give to society. We create dedicated collections whose sales are partly donated to the partnership. This year we have partnered with Médecins Sans Frontières donating 5% of sales from our beautiful Sandy Gordon collection.
Does ANTA have Trade customers?
The answer is yes. Whether you're an interior designer, carpet or fabric retailer, homeware retailer or are in the hospitality sector, we're here to support you with a professional service. We offer trade customers an exclusive discount across our homeware and stoneware collections. There's no minimum order value and if in stock we can ship within 5-10 days. Do you do ANTA gift vouchers?

RETURN, EXCHANGES & SHIPPING
What is ANTA’s return policy?
You can return your items within 3 weeks of delivery as long as you include the original packing slip or a copy of your order. We will only refund by the original method of payment, please allow up to 10 days for this to be processed. Postage and Packaging costs are non-refundable unless an item is faulty. We will not be held responsible for any goods damaged whilst being returned, we recommend that any items being returned are done so in the original packaging to avoid such damage.
Can any item be returned or exchanged?
No, we are unable to exchange or return any of the following items - fabric and carpet by the metre, curtains, fitted carpet, bespoke rugs, vintage ANTA stoneware, furniture and any other special order.
Can I change my order?
Unfortunately in most circumstances it’s not possible to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it. To add products to your order, please place a new order for these items. To change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, Please note that this may not be possible depending on the status of the order.
How long does it take to get ANTA products delivered?
We aim to dispatch our orders within 5-7 working days unless it is made to order such as bespoke rugs. In that case, our lead time is 3-4 weeks.
What about ANTA tax and duties?
When ordering goods from ANTA for delivery outside the UK, UK VAT will automatically be deducted at checkout. Once your order reaches the delivery country you will be contacted to arrange payment of the local Taxes and Duties prior to delivery. Any additional taxes, fees or levies are according to local legislation as we ship DDU.
When is shipping calculated when placing an order?
Shipping is generally calculated at time of dispatch.
What are ANTA shipping charges?
For UK orders, our shipping is £5 and is free of charge over £75. For the EU, USA and ROW, we have introduced Live Shipping Fees, so delivery costs will be calculated based on the volumetric weight of the purchased items.
I placed an order but I am not sure I am going to be in for the delivery?
If you are going on holiday or are not in for a delivery, we can add a note to your order with a requested delay. You can do that by emailing hello@anta.co.uk
ANTA STONEWARE
What is ANTA stoneware made of?
Our pottery is made of clay which is made in-house using 100% natural ingredients sourced in the UK. The clay is shaped, carved and then is put in the kiln twice before being painted and ready to sell.
Can ANTA stoneware go in the microwave?
Yes, our handmade pottery is designed to go from the freezer to the oven, and microwave! That is because of the high temperatures it reaches in the kiln when it’s being made, so bake safe as they are designed to last long and be easy to use.
Can ANTA stoneware go in the freezer?
Yes, it can. Just remember to defrost your dish completely so that it comes to room temperature before putting it in the oven.
Does ANTA do customised pottery?
No, unfortunately we don’t but we do have plenty of designs to choose from.
Why are my two mugs different shades although belonging to the same design?
At ANTA we take pride in our patterns, and we say that they are what make us authentic. Our pottery is hand-painted and crafted by our artisans, so little variations in colours are to be expected even when products belong to the same ANTA Scottish design.
Can ANTA stoneware go into the dishwasher?
The answer is yes! If required, soak your stoneware in soapy water after use, using a metal or natural scouring pad to remove all stubborn food. Otherwise, just place in the dishwasher as normal.
I am ordering a gift, does the pottery come in boxes?
We do have a gift wrapping option for our most popular gifting pieces, that can be selected at the checkout.
Can I collect my mug from Edinburgh?
We only have a showroom in Edinburgh, although orders can be placed from there, the only collection point we have is the Fearn shop.
Are ANTA candles vegan?
We are still testing to provide enduring quality. As soon as we switch to soy, we will let all of our customers know.
Can ANTA baking dishes go on the hob?
No, our Baking Dish cannot be used on a gas hob.
ANTA HOMEWARE AND ACCESSORIES
How do I clean my ANTA bag?
We suggest ideally spot cleaning if necessary. Or you could hand wash in a diluted mix of gentle laundry detergent with lukewarm water. As they're pure wool we recommend against using the washing machine.
How do I clean my ANTA carpet or rug?
For our flat weave carpets, a high quality carpet shampoo is ideal. We'd recommend just using a little solution in cool water initially. There could be different types of cleaners available. Most wet spillages will sit on top of the carpet and should be spot cleaned with a cloth. If the rug is very soiled, use a wet vacuum and wash the entire rug. What is the lead time for a bespoke rug or carpet?
Our lead time is 4-5 weeks but extends up to 6-7 weeks in busy periods like Christmas.
Is there any minimum order for ANTA Fabrics?
You can buy fabric in any length - minimum 0.50 m.
Is there any minimum order for ANTA Carpets?
You can buy carpets in any length - minimum 1 m. When ordering carpets, you can do that in 10 cm increments.
Do you have a carpet installer?
Yes, we can arrange carpet and stair runner installation. Just get in touch with us at hello@anta.co.uk and we can provide a quote and timings.
Do you have pattern repeat information?
Yes, we do and you can find them on our website when clicking on any fabric or carpet you’re interested in.
Do ANTA cushions include an inner cushion?
Yes, all of our cushions include a plump inner cushion made with feathers.
Do ANTA small lampshades fit table lamps or are they just pendant fittings?
They are perfect for both table lamps and pendant lights.
