KATE'S GIFT LIST|40TH ANNIVERSARY

"I have been a fan of ANTA for over 25 years, and was a collector even before then, as I had read an article about ANTA in a magazine and thought it looked like a plate that I had displayed my wall. When I turned over the plate it said ANTA and that was me hooked!

I have lived all of my life between the beautiful Orkney and Shetland Islands and appreciate the stunning scenery that encases me. The colourways used in ANTA homeware reflect these natural landscapes that I see everyday! The stoneware is extremely hardwearing and fits in well with our northern lifestyle. ANTA has been a product of choice for gifts for my daughters as they furnish their own homes too.

My husband Neil and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in December and we cannot believe it’s been so long since we set up home in Lerwick in the 80’s! We still feel like that young couple, but now the only difference is we have four children and four grandchildren!

We bought a child’s set of ANTA pottery to each of our grandchildren which we keep at our home for when they come for lunch, tea or even for a sleepover and the kids always ask to use them!

I’ve always been interested in sustainable and eco friendly products and that’s why ANTA is a favourite of mine, everything is beautifully handcrafted to last a very long time and this is exactly why I have chosen ANTA for my gift list!"
