• 2 Red Onions
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar

1. Chop the onions in to slices.

2. Over a medium heat melt the butter in a saucepan and add in the onions.

3. Fry for a 2-3 minutes.  Add the sugar and red wine vinegar.

4. Turn the heat down and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring regularly so that the sugar does not burn.

5. Once reduced serve straight away or store in an air tight container.
