Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream
There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about homemade vanilla ice cream. Simple to make and loved by all ages, it’s the perfect recipe to prepare with little helpers before leaving it to freeze while you enjoy the rest of the day. Serve scooped into ANTA stoneware bowls with fresh summer berries, warm puddings or simply on its own – a timeless treat to share with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 200g condensed milk
- 600ml double cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Place the condensed milk, double cream and vanilla extract into a large mixing bowl.
- Using an electric whisk, beat the mixture until it becomes thick and holds its shape, with a texture similar to clotted cream.
- Spoon the mixture into a freezer-safe container or large loaf tin.
- Cover with cling film and freeze until completely firm.
Serve with fresh berries, alongside warm bakes or simply enjoy a scoop on a sunny afternoon.
