- 400g / 8oz self raising flour
- 50g / 2oz butter
- 25g / 1oz caster sugar
- 300ml / ½ pt whole milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 100g / 4oz dried cranberries
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven 200C / 180C fan / gas 6
- Place ANTA baking dish in the oven whilst oven heats. Remove and line with pre cut grease proof paper
- Sift flour into large bowl, add sugar and other dry ingredients including the cranberries. Rub in the butter until it resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the milk.
- Turn onto a floured surface and quickly bring together and shape to a ball.
- Transfer to the warm baking dish and mark the dough into 16 squares, brush with a little milk
- Bake for about 12 – 15 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
