6 apples - cooking or sweet apples (cooking apples will just require more sugar)
120g Demerara sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
100g chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1. Set the oven to 180ºC. Wash and dry the apples then slice the top third off the apple and spoon out some of the inside creating a hole with the bottom still in tact.
2. In a bowl, combine the sultanas, the walnuts, cinnamon, sugar and the butter.
3. Spoon this mixture into each of the apples and replace the lid.
4. Place into an ANTA Baking Dish and pour about 1 inch of boiling water around the apples. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes until soft. Serve warm with ice-cream or cream.
