A Moment in Bloom: Wild Gorse at ANTA

A Moment in Bloom: Wild Gorse at ANTA

There’s a quiet shift in the air this time of year. The light softens, lilac begins to open, and things start to feel a little more like spring.

At ANTA Edinburgh, that shift comes with something new - and a little bit wild - arriving weekly in store. Did you know we host a seasonal flower pop-up by Wild Gorse, running Thursday to Saturday each week?

Known for their loose, natural arrangements and thoughtful use of colour, Wild Gorse arrangements are rooted in the Scottish landscape, seasonality and provenance. Their style is relaxed and intuitive, always changing with the season.

No two bunches are the same. No fuss. Just beautiful Scottish-grown flowers, simply arranged.

If you're nearby, pop in and take a look and pick something up for your home, a friend, or the weekend ahead.

Arrangements are ready to take away, and they sit beautifully in our stoneware if you’re after a full pairing.

A Floral Workshop: Rustic Heather & Lilac

For those curious to try their hand at arranging, we’re hosting a flower workshop in-store, led by Wild Gorse.

This session will guide you through creating your own bouquet using seasonal materials - with a focus on shape, texture, and working intuitively.

Expect lilac, Rustic Heather ANTA stoneware, and soft spring stems. The atmosphere is informal and hands-on, with tools, materials and refreshments included.

You’ll take home a finished arrangement, including an ANTA vessel, along with a few tips for working with flowers at home.
