Serves 2

200g of frozen British peas
Sourdough bread
Olive oil
4 rashers Streaky bacon
1/2 lemon juiced
Sea salt
  • Begin by slicing the bacon into strips before frying gently over a medium heat.
  • Whilst the bacon is cooking, add the frozen peas to boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. 
  • Drain the peas and add a tablespoon of olive oil, the lemon juice, salt and pepper
  • Toast two slices of sourdough bread, butter it then add the lemon peas finally topping with the crispy bacon
