Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the new Edinburgh showroom. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for customers, delivering exceptional service, and driving sales. This position is perfect for someone passionate about interiors, with a keen eye for design and a genuine interest in ANTA’s heritage and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide an exceptional, personalised shopping experience for all customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of ANTA’s product range, including textiles, rugs, ceramics, and bespoke offerings, in order to offer expert advice to customers.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales by engaging with customers, identifying their preferences, and making tailored product recommendations to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the showroom’s visual appearance, ensuring that products are displayed beautifully and in line with ANTA’s aesthetic and standards.
  • Stock Management: Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, restocking the showroom, and keeping inventory organised and accurate.
  • Bespoke Service Support: Introduce customers to ANTA’s bespoke services, offering guidance on custom carpets, curtains, and other personalised product offerings.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the showroom team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide support during busy periods or special events.
  • Event Participation: Support in-store events, promotions, and client consultations to enhance the customer experience and foster long-term relationships.


Job Type: 2 Full-time, 1 Part-time, Permanent 

Schedule:

- 40 hours a week
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Customer Service: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or the luxury/home interiors sector, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Sales Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently engage with customers to drive sales and enhance the customer journey.
  • Interest in Interiors: A passion for interior design, textiles, and home furnishings, with a keen interest in ANTA’s products and design philosophy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting client relationships.
  • Team Player: A collaborative team spirit, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards in showroom presentation and ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment, including working on weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons as needed.
  • IT Skills: Basic proficiency in using retail point-of-sale systems and Google Workplace applications.
